OBJETIVOS PLAN DEPARTAMENTAL “Hacer del Tolima una región ganadora dando solución a los problemas de la Gente, buscando una mayor competitividad y desarrollo, mediante un crecimiento sostenido de la economía, la integración y adecuación del territorio, que permitan una disminución del Desempleo, garantizando a los ciudadanos sus derechos constitucionales, propendiendo por su inclusión social, haciendo que la GENTE del Tolima recupere la fé en las acciones del Gobierno”. • Rescatar la educación y la cultura. • Cobertura universal régimen subsidiado de salud • Juventud y mujer, recuperarán importancia social y económica • Economía crecerá generando empleo y ocupación • El desempleo del Tolima y de Ibagué descenderán • Tendremos un territorio adecuado e integrado.

MISIÓN El Municipio de Planadas es un ente territorial, comprometido con la satisfacción de las necesidades básicas de su población, que aprovechando sus potencialidades comercial, agropecuaria, ambiental y fuentes de financiación, busca a través de un proceso concertado y permanente de participación ciudadana desarrollar una gestión eficiente, eficaz y honesta con el fin de posicionarlo como un Municipio modelo en desarrollo humano y calidad de vida de sus habitantes
