  4. My classmates and I attended “Beauty and the Beasts” under my teacher’s guidance. Teacher invited one or more students to choose a kind of Taiwan animals and painted it with corporations. We searched information from library or Internet first.

  16. I choose a lovely fish.I decided to paint its picture . I like to tell you its story. Let me introduce you a miracle in Taiwan.

  19. Taiwan is an island rising from the ocean.

  20. The Landlocked Salmon have lived in frigid mountain waters since the last Ice Age.

  21. They were found in the Chichiawan Stream.

  22. That is Shei-ba National Park.

  23. Formosan Landlocked Salmon 1.The Salmon is a rare group in Taiwan. Its discovery in Taiwan is a miracle. 2. It is also named,〝 Taiwan Trout 〞 or 〝Taiwanese Masu Salmon.〞

  24. Formosan Landlocked Salmon 3. The fish has a flat body with 8 oval spots on both sides. It also has a big, wide mouth.

  25. Formosan Landlocked Salmon 5.It is a cold-water fish and it can only live in clean water.

  26. Formosan Landlocked Salmon 4.It’s usually 10 - 20 centimeters long but it can grow to about 50 centimeters.
