  2. P u r p o s e • Why redistrict? • GAE Constitution & Bylaws • Governance Districts must be reviewed by CRB every 5 years • Compliance with one-person-one-vote standard • Governance Districts may vary by +/- 10% • Governance Districts are now out of compliance by greater than 10%

  5. What would be the average number of members per district be if the districts were approximately the same size? Tip – as of 5/31/2016 GAE’s largest local had 2,775 Active members – therefore for all practical purposes there can be no more and 8 districts.

  7. Timeline Timeline CRB meeting to develop timeline, prepare for member input and initial review of options for compliance. CRB meeting to determine alternative proposals. CRB Presents to Representative Assembly for Adoption August - January 2016 December 12, 2015 April 16, 2016 June - July 2016 February 22, 2016 April 1-2, 2017 CRB presents to GAE Representative Assembly and receives input CRB initial meeting to review compliance CRB members and District Directors visit locals to review redistricting.
