CONTINUING PROMISE 09Medical (General) • Medical providers from Partner Nations (Canada, El Salvador, Netherlands, Nicaragua, and Dominican Republic), Joint Services (Coast Guard, Navy, Army, Air Force, and USPHS), and NGOs provided medical care at 3 diverse sites. • Preventive medicine at 6 sites • Medical: • 12,639 patient encounters • 42,986 healthcare service encounters • 131 biomedical evaluations and repairs • 13,823 prescriptions filled ashore • 4,609 optometry patients seen ashore • 6,645 pairs of glasses provided Training: Basic Life Support - 226 Advanced Cardiac Life Support - 30 Pediatric Advanced Life Support - 25 Lectures at Hospital - 275 Ultrasound - 42 Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support - 43 Nursing Seminar - 100 Gerontology at Fine’s Institute - 42 Exercise Therapy - 40 Stress Management Counseling - 25 Informal Health Promotion - 1,060 Partnership for the Americas Unclassified / FOUO

CONTINUING PROMISE 09 Medical (Surgery) • Preoperative screening clinic conducted in 3 days at the Multipurpose Center • Donated orthopedic surgery fracture table to Mount Saint John Medical Center • Established working collaborations with local physicians • Participated in evening lecture series at local hospital • Surgical: • 234 patients screened for surgery • 161 surgeries performed aboard COMFORT over 6 operating days Partnership for the Americas Unclassified / FOUO

CONTINUING PROMISE 09Veterinary • Met with Director of Department of Agriculture, Host Nation veterinarians, Humane Society, PAAWS, and equine owners to discuss Host Nation goals • Coordinated and worked side-by-side with Host Nation veterinarians and owners • Demonstrated veterinary preventive medicine, safe animal handling, and animal husbandry to Host Nation livestock owners • Veterinary: • - 2,084 animals treated • - 5,770 total veterinary services provided Partnership for the Americas Unclassified / FOUO

CONTINUING PROMISE 09Engineering • Mental Hospital project: • Constructed and installed 26 windows • Repaired/replaced 17 door jambs and installed new doors • with locks, repair/replace 75 feet of gutter • Installed 39 florescent light fixtures • Install new panel box and re-wired building to include grounding • Installed 2-inch grey water line from shower/kitchen • Repaired 10 feet of 3-inch grey water line • Painted entire interior/exterior of the building • Project in conjunction with Rotary Club Antigua • Provided engineering subject matter expert exchange • with Antigua Public Works Department Partnership for the Americas Unclassified / FOUO

CONTINUING PROMISE 09Strategic Communications • Observations - High volume of reporting given the minimal number of media outlets in Antigua and Barbuda - Media reporting communicated high level of support and engagement from HN GOV (PM and some ministerial level) and overall positive impact on HN populace - Limited negative reporting on long waits in line to receive treatment was offset by reports indicating positive overall impact on HN populace, including 3 positive Op-Eds thanking COMFORT medical personnel for treatment Partnership for the Americas Unclassified / FOUO

CONTINUING PROMISE 09Security and Stability • Nursing SME • Antigua Nurses Association and the School of Nursing onboard for general discussion / ship tour • Antigua Nurses Association Annual Meeting and Education Conference. 14 COMFORT nurses in attendance, 3 presented • 6 Antigua and 6 COMFORT personnel joined to do health care screening and counseling at 3 locations • 40 Antigua nursing students onboard over 5 days with their instructors doing clinical as well as at the Multicultural Center daily. • 10 community leaders and 38 Antigua nurses attended lectures Partnership for the Americas Unclassified / FOUO
