The Network of Care Program was recommended by the President's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health, It was developed for counties and communities by the California Department of Mental Health, in partnership with Trilogy Integrated Resources. It represents a transformational use of the Internet by harnessing the information revolution directly for the benefit of the community behavioral health. History of Network of Care

  5. First step: Get on the internet • Click the start tab • Go to Internet Explorer • Double Click the blue “e” • Let your home page load (this will not be the home page for Network of Care unless it was set that way)‏

  6. Second step: Network of Care site • Once your home page has loaded • Go to the address (where the web site address goes starts http//:www.) bar and type www.networkofcare.comor networkofcare.com either will work. • The following screen will appear:

  8. At this page you will choose the Mental Behavioral Health-this will give you a list of states for you to chose from you will need to pick the state that you are in. Home page for Network of Care.

  10. If you have clicked on Ohio you will then be taken to a site that looks similar to this. From here you will chose what county you are in example Stark or Trumbell. (Columbiana County no longer has a site) The Second page on your journey.

Service Directory You can search for resources three ways: By Category (most popular) By Program or agency name By Keyword Category choices: Access to services, advocacy, crisis & emergency services, Early intervention, education, employment, financial assistance, general health services, housing, insurance, legal, mental health services, recreation/leisure, religion/spirituality, safety, sexual issues, substance abuse, support and transportation.
