BNet • Definition by CMS Children with serious mental health or substance abuse issues are those who need intense behavioral health planning and treatment services in order to reach and keep a healthy quality of life.

BNet • KID CARE APPLICATION QUALIFYING QUESTIONS. • “Does this child need to get special therapy, such as physical, occupational or speech therapy, or treatment or counseling for an emotional, developmental, or behavioral problem?”
BNet • “Does this child need or use more medical care, mental health or education services than is usual for most children of the same age?”
BNet • Process once a provider identifies a child in need of BNet services: • Screening • Application • Correspondence with Tallahassee CMS • Waiting period • Tallahassee feedback to the provider • Enrollment list
