LONG TERM GOAL To prepare today’s children for tomorrow’s world by adopting 21st Century skills, providing tools and resources (critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovation) so that our students can meet the challenges of the modern age to solve mathematical problems.

  3. SHORT TERM GOALS Enabling students to clear basic concepts of Mathematics. Enabling students to enhance their mental math skills. Enabling students to handle information and solve problems.

  6. BLOOMS TAXONOMY AND 21st CENTURY APPROACHES

Applying Bloom’s Taxonomy on the Lesson: Application of Maths in Practical Situations REMEMBERING: Brainstorming questions UNDERSTANDING: Students review of the lesson APPLYING: Watching multi media presentations ANALYSING: Question and answers EVALUATING: Tests and quizzes CREATING: Presentations

  8. CONCLUSION The world is changing, society's expectations are changing, and our students are changing. It follows that the methods for teaching are changing as well. I look forward enthusiastically to the implementation of my newly acquired 21st Century teaching approaches with my school team and students. This will create better teaching learning environment in The City School.
