  2. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS • Expand standard length of USSGL Account for future expansion of the USSGL General Ledger • Complies with CGAC • Current length of USSGL Accounts is four-digits • 1010.XX

  3. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS • Current number of digits in the USSGL Accounts will be expanded to six digits. The USSGL Account Number has two components: • USSGL Account Code – Six digits • USSGL Account Extension Code – Two digits assigned by the agency for agency specific reporting needs.

  4. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS • Proposed Structure (initial) • Add two zeros “00” to the end of current USSGL Account • 101000.00 • Agencies can not modify six digits • Agencies can use the two digit extension at their discretion

  5. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS • Effective 2013 • TFM Release • Bulletin • Six-Digits will be implemented in GTAS • Future restructuring of USSGL Accounts • Timeframe – TBD • IRC input and participation
