About Us Earth Education International Description: An experiential learning organization in Costa Rica providing interdisciplinary courses & programs in sustainability, environmental studies & social responsibility. We work in partnership with educational institutions globally, and support and promote sustainable initiatives locally. Offerings: • Summer/Winter courses: Deep Ecology & Sustainable Living • Spring semester: ‘Sustainable Global Stewardship’ • Various study tours Visiting Arenal Volcano
Earth Education International Semester Course Offerings • Sustainability & Service-Learning [3 units undergraduate or graduate credit] • Environment & Conservation in the Tropics [3 units undergraduate or graduate credit] • Costa Rican Culture Immersion [3 units undergraduate or graduate credit] • Elementary --or-- Intermediate Spanish [3 units undergraduate credit] • Directed Study (approval required) [Optional 3 units of undergraduate or graduate credit]
Earth Education International General Info & Prerequisites • General Information: • Open to students from ANY campus • Suitable for ALL majors • No Spanish required • Undergraduate or graduate credit available • ‘Class’ time includes field study & volunteer work • Prerequisites: • Completed application by deadline • Minimum GPA of 2.5 • Completion of 15 semester credits (or prior approval) • Personal attributes for a safe & positive experience
