Energy In the home
There are 2 types of energy Renewable Can be used over again without running out • Wind • Solar • H.E.P. Non-renewable Will eventually run out • Oil • Coal • Gas Which type of energy is used in your home?
Energy use in the home • A certain amount of energy is necessary in our homes as we need lights, a heating, a fridge and a TV. /radio/ playstation for entertainment.
However many people are being careless with the amount of energy they use at home. You may not think that leaving the lights on, or not switching off the TV. when you’re not watching it will do any harm, but what if everyone thought this way..??
As well as making your energy bills dearer, the continuous use of non-renewable resources will cause them to run out
It’s a good idea for homes to start using renewable resources for fuel. For example, Geothermal energy (heat from the ground) can now be used to heat homes rather than oil or gas
