Important: Result Slips • Ensure accuracy of personal particulars • Inform GO of any errors by 23 Dec 2013 • Any amendment to certificate after 23 Dec 2013will involve a payment of $50 • Replacement for results slips is obtainable directly from: MOE Customer Service Centre

Pathways for 4N(A) • Promotion to Sec 5N(A) • Retention at Sec 4N(A) • “Through-train” to poly for eligible students • Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) • ITE DES-to-Poly Programme (DPP) • Progression to ITE 7
Promotion Criteria to 5N(A) • You must meet ALLthe criteria below: • Pass N(A)-Level EL • AND • ELMAB3 ≤ 19 • (EL, Math and Best 3 other subjects) • AND • At least N(A)-level Grade 5 for all subjects used in the computation of ELMAB3
Retention Criteria - 4N(A) Only • You must meet one of the following criteria: • ELMAB3 ≤ 21 • OR • ELB3 ≤ 14 • OR • MAB3 ≤ 14 • You must be < 20 years of age as of Jan 2014 • Sat for the GCE N(A) Level Examination only once previously • At least N(A)-level Grade 5 for all subjects used in the computation of the above combinations
Option to Repeat 4N(A) • On a case-by-case basis • Please submit the form to GO by 12 pm on 23 Dec 2013
“Returning” Westwoodians • Promotion to 5N(A) (for 4NA students) • Retention in 4N(A) • Interested and eligible applicants for PFP • For students moving on to 5N(A), submit form to the GO by 12 noon, 23 Dec 2013 • Purchase your books from the school bookshop by 30 Dec 2013 • 2014 class list will be available outside the GO on 30 Dec 2013
Polytechnic Foundation Prog (PFP) New in 2013 • For N(A) students who are academicallystrong and clearly polytechnic bound • PFP eligibility: ELMAB3 ≤11 (excl CCA bonus pts) • Obtain min N(A) Level Grade 3 in EL & MATH • One-year foundation programme to prepare students for poly diploma courses • Given provisional places in diploma programmes, subject to passing all modules in the one year PFP programme.
Important! • Application for PFP will commence after the release of the 2013 GCE O level results in January 2014. • Eligible applicants will receive a form P, inviting them to apply. • Applicants who are eligible to apply for PFP should progress to 5N(A) first while waiting to apply for PFP. • If your application to PFP is successful, you will withdraw from S5N(A) by end Jan 2014.
ITE Direct Entry Scheme to Poly Programme (DPP) - New in 2013 • For N(A) students who are fairly strong academically • DPP eligibility: ELMAB3 ≤ 19 points (excl CCA bonus pts) with • Applied Science, Engineering & ICT: EL & MATH ≤ 4 • Business & Services: EL ≤ 3, MATH ≤ 4 • Students accepted into DPP will enrol into Higher Nitec courses at ITE.
ITE Direct Entry Scheme to Poly Programme (DPP) - New in 2013 • Advantage of choosing DPP over Sec 5NA • Direct entry to Higher Nitec at ITE, which is otherwise only available for O-level holders • Students are assured of a place in a poly diploma course mapped to their Higher Nitec, subject to them meeting the Grade Point Average(GPA) requirements • Successful applicants are required to attend a 10- week preparatory course prior to commencing Higher Nitec course
Application for DPP (Online) • Eligible students will receive a form N with a PIN upon release of N-level results • Interested applicants are to submit DPP applications via DPP application portal between 19th Dec, 2 pm and 23rd Dec, 5 pm. • Application results will be out at 9 am, 26th Dec via SMS or application portal. • Students MUST log on to DPP application portal and accept/reject DPP offer from 26 Dec, 9 am – 30 Dec, 4 pm. 16
Appeal for DPP • There is no centralised appeal system for DPP • If there is a need to appeal, students must approach ITE directly
Important! • Students who have accepted DPP offer are not to return to Sec 5N(A) • Students who are not successful in DPP applications should report back to resume Sec 5N(A) by 2 January 2014 • Students who reject the DPP offer given need to report back to commence Sec 5N(A) on 2 January 2014

Appeal for Review of Results • Interested applicants will need to submit an appeal form to the National Exam Com by 24th Dec 2013. • The fees payable for appeal is S$102.70 per subject per candidate
