JUNYUAN SECONDARY SCHOOL Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) • For N(A) students who are academically strong and clearly polytechnic bound • Suitable for students with blended learning styles (conceptual and applied) • Application starts after the release of O Level Results in January. Students interested in applying PFP will continue with their Sec 5 education first. • 1200 places offered for 80% of diploma course offered at the polytechnics.

JUNYUAN SECONDARY SCHOOL ITE DES-to-Poly Prog (DPP) • Prepares Sec 4N(A) students for progression into selected polytechnic diploma courses via a 2-year Higher Nitec programme at ITE, and a 10-week DPP preparatory course • Students who attain required Higher Nitec GPA scores are guaranteed a place in one of the polytechnic diploma courses mapped to the Higher Nitec course. • Advantage of choosing DPP over Sec 5N • Direct entry to Higher Nitec, which is otherwise only available for O-level holders • Students assured of 1st or 2nd year place in related Diploma course, if they attain qualifying GPA scores

JUNYUAN SECONDARY SCHOOL ITE January Intake Exercise • IMPORTANT POINTERS!!! • There is keen competition for places in ITE NITEC. • Not participating in the Main Application Phase greatly reduces likelihood of gaining a place in ITE. • Students need to exercise the full 12 choices and include less popular options to maximise their chances of a successful posting.
