GEC -10 Layer 2 Network architecture: • Deployed Cisco 3400’s switches to UH, Rice, TAMU, and UT-Austin • VLAN assignments to sites and physical connections established • QinQ demonstration successful between end-points • Submitted thorough documentation GEC - 9 • Handler testing on emulation network

  3. GEC -11 Planning for GEC 12 • Building and Installing small Eucalyptus Cluster controller and Node controller • Configuring Master node and Worker node • Registration of Nodes • Loading VM instance image • Test the installation and connectivity

  4. FUTURE MILESTONES LEARN upcoming events • Deploy Eucalyptus clusters at UH and Rice • UH connection at the Research Computing Center • Connection of Rice to be upgraded to the Computing Center at Rice • UTA Switch to move to the high speed computing center of UTA

  5. Overall architecture with Eucalyptus cluster
