Assignment • Find a song, (school appropriate), that describes you well. • The song could represent your attitude, resources, personality, self-concept, values, interests, or abilities. Honesty, Family, Health, Religion, Education, Relationships • Work Values relate to the work you do or respect. Creativity, Status, Ethics, Variety, Teamwork, Time, Recognition
Values An example of someone who values- FAMILY- eats dinner with the family every night to promote family unity and spend time together. EDUCATION- studies and saves money for college. FRIENDSHIPS- acts as a good listener when your friend is having a hard time. Keeps confidences. TIME- prepares a schedule to prioritize things they need to do. MONEY- creates a budget to spend wisely and save some. INDEPENDENCE- works to save money for a car or a house. ETHICS- is honest with clients when you cannot do a job within a certain timeframe or budget.
