  2. The history • Идея авиации – одна из самых древних в истории человечества. В мифах, преданиях, исторических хрониках можно найти свидетельства о множестве предпринятых в разные века попытках человека осуществить свою давнюю мечту- подняться в воздух и лететь подобно птице. Но всё это были дилетантские предприятия, в которых видно больше энтузиазма, чем расчёта, и потому они неизменно кончались неудачей. Только в последней четверти XIX века появились первые свидетельства того, что полёт на аппаратах тяжелее воздуха может когда-нибудь стать реальностью.

  3. The history • Первый шаг в небо был сделан с помощью моделей. Прямыми предшественниками всех современных самолётов можно считать игрушечные аэропланы Пено, которые он строил с 1871 года и запускал с помощью резиновых моторчиков. В 1872 году Пено пришёл к выводу, что для устойчивого полёта необходимо хвостовое оперение. Искусство полёта в подлинном смысле этого слова впервые освоили братья Вильбур и Орвиль Райт, установившие, что для обеспечения поперечной устойчивости аэроплана необходимо перекашивать концы его крыльев. Затем их аэропланы усовершенствовались во Франции.

  5. The disadvantages • You can’t see the beautiful view of the country-side, but you can see the large area of our country. • It is very expensive way of travelling. The cost of the tickets is very high. • Sometimes it is dangerous.

Why do some Russian people prefer to travel by plane? • They chose this way of travelling because: • they can afford travelling abroad. • They want to learn about other people’s culture and traditions. • They provide tours to various destinations abroad. • They can visit the 5 most popular destinations for Russian tourists abroad: Turkey, Egypt, Spain, Bulgaria, Italy.

  7. The top of “must-visit” places for tourists in Russia • Moscow, St Petersburg, Sochi, Karelia.

  8. Dream holiday • We want to combine entertainment with learning. We could travel to Great Britain to know more about this country, especially about London. There one can see Madame Tussauds Wallace Collection, Westminster Abbey, Albert Hall, Victoria station, Charing cross station and so on. This is our dream.
