Fostering Potential Project: Empowering Foster Carers for Education Success

The Fostering Potential project aims to enhance educational outcomes for looked after children by training foster carers to be Education Champions. This program, funded by Sir John Cass Foundation and BFSS, includes training sessions, individual support, and a webinar series on best practices. Foster carers are empowered to support children in Maths/English, meet targets, and prepare for PEP meetings. LA events provide additional support and engagement opportunities. Webinars feature expert speakers discussing topics like higher education and career aspirations.
