Goat Boat • Someone sits down on their board.
Hang Ten • Throw their hands in the air while surfing.
Impact Zone • Where the waves break.
Jacking • A wave condition in which a swell rises and very quickly as it passes from deeper water to shallow water.
Kneelo • A person who rides on their knees.
Layback • A maneuver where the person lays back on their board usually in a cutback
Mushy • A condition where the waves don’t have much energy.

Zulu • Zulu time is used on weather charts. Weather charts play an important role in predicting surfing conditions.
