System of Government • Rannea is a country with a autocratic government • The there is one leader, which is currently Benjamin Morrannea • When our ancestors created this nation they chose autocracy due to their belief that all humans are equal but should be led by a chosen leader
Throughout the existence of Rannea, autocracy has proved to be a very successful way of governing the country • We know that this because there have been no civil wars, the economy is booming, and the people are happy • However, there are elections in Rannea which are held every ten years in case someone was to run in an election to be leader • In such cases, there will be a national vote
Benism • Benism is the political ideology of the government of Rannea • The current leader, Benjamin Morrannea, was named after this philosophy The Sunstar – National Symbol representing Benism
Aspects • Everyone is equal, including the leader but during his reign he is granted full control of all matters of the state • General belief in the equality and good nature of all people who require the guidance of one leader who makes the decisions • The leader is responsible for making the best decisions based on what is good for his land and his people
Benefits • Everyone is equal under the law • Everyone is guided by the leader who makes decisions but is not above the law • The government works to ensure the peace, protection, and prosperity of the entire state • Drawbacks • One person (the leader) makes all the decisions • Lack of motivation is possible in an equal society but it has not been a problem so far in the nation’s history

Benjamin Joshua Morrannea and his royal ancestors have never once had anyone run against them in an election • The people that inhabit Rannea love what leader Benjamin and his royal ancestors have accomplished over the hundreds of years that they have been in power • There is no reason for anyone to try and run against the royal family because all residents of Rannea know that the peace, and calm structure of the society will fall under the leadership of anyone else
