System Overview: Four Components 1. ONE Internet connection per school 2. 3. ONE Installation per school Proctors and students access TDS through URL 4.

One per District or School Test Delivery System (TDS) • Handles Test Delivery • Downloaded From DAS • Only Component Installed on Local Network
In the iTest System the Test Delivery application can be installed by the School System Administrator (SSA), the District Technology Support Specialist (DTECH) or by the School Technology Support Specialist (STECH). It is highly recommended that the STECH user completes the TDS installation. This is because the Test Delivery Settings screen which appears at the end of the TDS installation requires an STECH login for authentication. • Installation and Setup Guide, p.17 Installation of TDS

CATS Online District AdministratorCODA Assigned User Name and Password by KDE • Enters School Administrators in DAS and Assigns Them User Names and Passwords • Verifies Student Data Was Loaded Correctly • Views Reports • District scheduling • Progression of testing
CODA First Steps • Create user name and password for DTech (usually DTC/CIO or other IT) • Create user name and password for School Administrator
School Administrators Assigned User Name and Password by CODA • Adds School Staff To DAS and Assigns Roles • Creates User Names and Passwords for Staff • Creates Test Sessions in DAS • All practice tests loaded March 13 • Adds New Students to DAS, if needed • Students are preloaded into DAS March 13
Teachers Proctors • Open, Close, and Pause Test Sessions • Add Walk-In Students If Necessary • Monitor Test Progress • Same as Proctor, and • Edit Student Accommodation Code

PROCTOR – Administer tests, View Test Sessions & Students to which assigned TEACHER – Administer tests, View Test Sessions & Students to which assigned, View Reports SCHOOL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR – Creates & Schedules Test Sessions, Adds & Verifies Staff, Adds & Verifies Students, Views Reports (Only access data from own school) TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST – Installs, configures, & maintains systems SCHOOL TEST SCHEDULER – Add, Edit, and Delete Staff, Student, Class and Test Session Data
Add All gives all roles to the staff member. School System Administrator is the role that encompasses all of the other roles.

Add New Class Optional (could be used for testing location)

Add Proctors Screen Recommended: Add 3 proctors in case of staff absence on test day.
Selecting Students • To Add All Students in a Class to a Test Session • Select Class from dropdown menu. • Click Search button to see list of students in Class. • Click Add All button
