  5. Keeping the shelters going…More than 500 ARC shelters were opened and operated during Hurricane Irene Re

  6. American Red Cross ERV’s distributes needed supplies and food to affected Irene victims.

  7. Flood waters damaged homes and forced many people to evacuate their homes.

  8. Determined to reach ALL victims, disaster volunteer Carrie Smith hikes through treacherous terrain to deliver some much needed food and water.

  9. Carrie Smith delights Hurricane Irene victim Joyce Sledge with her radiant, warm smile and of course, food.

  10. A Hurricane Irene victim that lost her home is comforted by a very empathetic and caring ARC Disaster volunteer.
