GMSettings is the configuration tool used to configure Aloha Guest manager server, terminals, and devices as well as all application settings GMSettings can be accessed two ways: Stand alone by running GMSettings.exe on the server machine from within c:\program files\radiant systems\guestmanager\bin\ guestmanagersettings directory From within Aloha Manager: Maintenance\Guest Manager Settings. Server C:\Program Files AGM File Structure • Terminal C:\Program Files Directory where active\ current software resides Log files for local machine Directory where new release software resides prior to upgrade
Server Main Services reside on the server machine Services are auto installed with the install MSI based on config settings in GM Settings config tool AGM Services • Services (Control Panel\Administrative Tools\Services) • Aloha Guest Manager File • Aloha Guest Manager Host • Device Host (installed to machine with transmitter attached – usually on the terminal vs. the server machine) • MSSQLServer
Any changes to the settings in GM Settings configuration tool (either via standalone or from within Aloha Manager) must be manually updated to each terminal after the new settings are saved. To do this, on each terminal running Aloha Guest Manger, apply the Application Update from within the AGM application. This is located under Admin (accessible from any AGM screen) under Manager Access. This process will stop the AGM App, pull over the new config file and restart the AGM Application automatically.
