B31.3 Section Committee • ASME B31.3 Process Piping Code Section Committee is made up of members from the following interest categories (total of 53): • Manufacturer – 9 • User -13 • Pipeline – 2 • Constructor – 5 • Designer – 10 • Insurance/Inspection – 1 • General Interest – 13 • Regulatory - 0

B31.3 Section Committee • Opportunities for International Involvement: • International Review Group (IRG) • Currently there are 22 Members + the Chair (Rex Engle) representing 16 countries • Vision: …..promote an acceptance and understanding of the (B31.3) Code outside the United States and Canada and to provide (a vehicle) to provide input to Committee activities from an international perspective……in short, to evermore make B313. and internationally utilized sta.ndard of choice

B31.3 Section Committee • IRG Current Major Activity • Incorporate Australian material specifications into ASME B31.3 Opportunity: • Each IRG member is afforded the opportunity to comment on each B31.3 technical ballot • New Mentoring Program will allow the Section Committee the opportunity to monitor work and interest of prospective members to ensure contribution before being granted full membership

B31.3 Section Committee • International Working Group (IWG) • Allows for local working group of individuals to meet locally and perform work to address B31.3 agenda item, the Vision is the same as the IRG • Currently only one IWG which is IWG-India made up of 18 members. • Delegates • Sinopec China
