Vocabulary Definitions Carefully read the word and the definition. A definition provides an explanation of the word.
Definitions The definition helps you understand the meaning of a word. To find the definition of a word, a person may use a dictionary or a glossary.
Orchid Definition: A tropical plant with flowers that grow in many shapes and colors. The Chinese name Lan means orchid.
Special Definition: Different from the others in some way. In Chinese school we learn a specialkind of writing called calligraphy.

Ancestor Definition: Plural of ancestor: Your ancestors are members of your family who lived a long time ago. My ancestors lived in China.
