Championships Village Overview Gwangju 2019 operates the Athletes Village for the athletes & the team officials attending the Championships and the Media Village for the media personnel covering the Championships. Athletes Village Room Composition Athletes and team officials will be allocated together in one building. Each Building only has one type of unit. Athletes Village International Zone International Zone The International Zone in the Athletes Village provides various services including the Team Welcome Ceremonies, events results distribution and interviews. Also, various Pavilions operated by the FINA Partners will add more attraction to the Village.

Athletes Village Athletes Zone Athletes Zone The Residential Zone in the Athletes Village offers various facilities for the convenience of the athletes and team officials during the Championships. The facilities ranging from the Medical Centre including the Emergency Room, the Doping Control Command to the coffee shops, beauty salon and the internet café, will enhance the vividness of this area.

Athletes Village Athletes’ Village Dining Hall Dining Hall • Opening hours: 05:00 ~ 00:30, 1,000 seats at once • Served in buffet style, Asian, European, Halal, and Korean food • Operating Nutrition Kiosks for allergies, gluten free, or specific needs • No outside food allowed for cross contamination & food poisoning prevention • To take food out of the dining hall is not permitted • Baggage or bags kept in a designated storage
