  2. Introduction Come on let’s go on a adventure! Oh and just in case we run into any indians I brought a whip. So hurry up because I want to show you the 6 regions of Kentucky!

  3. Eastern Coal Fields Most of the state’s coal is found in this region.

  4. Eastern Coal Fields It has the highest point in the state, Black Mountain.

  5. Pennyroyal Mammoth Caves is in this region.

  6. Pennyroyal • Fort Knox is in this region.

  7. Bluegrass • This region contains half of Kentucky’s population.

  8. Bluegrass The largest city and state’s capital are here.

  9. Jackson Purchase This region was added after Kentucky became a state.

  10. Jackson Purchase The person who bought it was the 7th president.

  11. Knobs This region was named after Keith Knob.

  12. Knobs A group of native Americans settled here.

  13. Western Coal Fields The first Mothers Day was here.

  14. Western Coal Fields The first coal mine in Kentucky was here.
