About us The Pro-curo software was developed in 2007 and originally resold exclusively through Brady Corporation, a major manufacturer of advanced labelling technologies. Pro-curo then became a standalone company in 2012, and began partnering with Planer in the early summer of 2013, with over 120 users of the Pro-curo software. Pro-curo is a sample inventory and tracking software used within many industries and applications – especially into the life science markets. Pro-curo ltd will be providing sales support and the technical support directly with the end users – to make selling of the product easier. Pro-curo is focused on looking after customers and their samples in a way that no other software supplier is offering. Pro-curo pride themselves on their support services which are offered by means of support contracts. Contracts are available in two versions standard and premier each having a list of features that give the appropriate level of support the you need, for example the premier contract involves 24/7 telephone support and onsite fault identification and fix.
Why is there a need? • Our main competition is spread sheets and Lab books • 85 % of people are not using more than a spreadsheet to track their samples • 65 % of people are not using more than a lab book or number tracking system to track their samples!
Why is there a need? • Spreadsheets (Disadvantages) • No audit trail – i.e. someone deletes or edits a sample by mistake, or accidentally assigns it to the wrong location • No back up procedures – if the local computer is damaged, office catches fire...? • Needs to be designed to provide the features the user needs • No upgrades to product or features unless designed in house • No compliance to FDA 21 CRF Part 11 • No support from software supplier • No compatibility with barcode printing machines and scanners
Why is there a need? • In house database (Disadvantages) • Most likely to have no audit trail – ie someone deletes or edits a sample my mistake, or accidentally assigns it to the wrong location • No back up procedures – if the local computer is damaged, office catches fire...? • Needs to be designed to provide the features the user needs • No upgrades to product or features unless designed in house • Not likely to be compliant to FDA 21 CRF Part 11 • No support from software supplier • No compatibility with barcode printing machines and scanners
Why is there a need? • Lab books (Disadvantages) • No audit trail – ie someone deletes or edits a sample my mistake, or accidently assigns it to the wrong location • No back up procedures – if the book is lost or damaged... office catches fire... Needs to be photocopied each time a change is made • No compliance to FDA 21 CRF Part 11 • No support from software supplier • No compatibility with barcode printing machines and scanners
