  2. Location The White Cliffs of Dover are located in Dover near the Dover strait which marks the point were Britain is closest to France. On a clear day you can easily see the White Cliffs from Cap Gris Nez in France across the Channel.

  3. Work at The White Cliffs of Dover The White Cliffs of Dover was an excellent chalk mine. The cliffs are mostly made of chalk but there are parts of flint (or Flintstone) and Quart in the rock.

  4. Memories from the White Cliffs of Dover Year 5 & 6 went to the Dover port when we were crossing the Dover strait on the French trip last year, we all took loads of pictures from the trip!
