  2. General Status • NOC is staffed by VeriLAN and volunteers. • Guestroom wireless network was successfully switched over Sunday at noon. • All public areas have wireless. • Network is stable.

  3. Primary path is 1Gb link to UMN 3 VLANs 1 to INTERNET2 2 to UMN commercial peers IPv6 native to INTERNET2 and TWTelecom Peak traffic of ~60M Backup path is 802.11a wireless shot to UMN Upstream Connectivity

Wireless • 63 802.11a/b/g/n Cisco Access Points • Service available in SkyWater, lobby, 2nd and 3rd floor meeting rooms and public spaces. • Guestroom access is via hotel infrastructure to IETF network • 5 Wireless SSIDs • ietf (open 802.11a/b/g/n) • ietf-a (802.11a/n only) • ietf.1x (802.1x 802.11a/b/g/n) • ietf-a.1x (802.1x 802.11a/n only) • ietf-v6ONLY (802.11a/b/g/n)
