About the topography of Nepal • Nepal is divided into three topographical regions which are: • Himalayan region • Hilly region • Terai region
Some features of Nepal • Nepal is the only Hindu country of the world. • Nepal is a country having constitutional monarchy. • Nepal is an agricultural country. About 80% of the population depend on agriculture • The highest peak of the world, Mount Everest, 8848 meters, is situated in Nepal. • Nepal has a diversity of rich cultures. • Different languages are spoken. • Different traditions are followed.
History of Nepal • Earlier, Nepal was scattered in small countries. • One Shah king named Prithivi Narayan Shah unified all the small countries into one single country which is Nepal now.
