Yellow and Blue Cards • Update • Blue and yellow cards are in the lounge on top of mail boxes • Make sure you are filling these out correctly • Yellow cards are due Thursdays NLT COB • Turned into evaluator • Blue cards submitted on Fridays NLT COB • Turned into CDT Laslovich box with yellow card • Any questions see CDT Laslovich

  6. The walking phase of STX • At O'Neill Park • MS IVs will walk Squads through a STX lane from start to finish for an Ambush, Mvmnt to Contact, Raid, Attack, and Recon • There will be an instructor for each class level • This lab will require full participation from all MS IVs • One MS IV over watch the MS III (SL), MS IV over watch MS II (TML) & MS I (SQD members), but stay as a squad • Personal instruction • attention to detail • MS I and IIs do not wander around without a purpose Squad Tactics #2

Pasibe take pictures • There is no need to meet on Monday, but do review STX operations and ask any questions that you may have. • If you will not be at lab, notify myself via Email so that I can replace you and you need to tell the PMS too. • There is a possibility that we may need to combine squads due to the small number of squad members per squad. This will be based on the revised PLT rosters from Bashant, so stand by on that decision. • If we need to break down squads we will break apart 3rd and 4th squad from 2nd PLT and add them to the existing squads evenly. We need to have full squads (9 members).

  11. MS IIs • I was told by Maj Longoria that the MS IIs will be going to SJER on Wednesday instead of partaking in the lab. If this is true we will need to adjust accordingly with the squads. • We also need a two man team that can assist Maj Longoria while at SJER. Preferably individuals who have done well at Land Nav, but cannot be a lane walker. • He wants to only use 3-4 points and do a step by step process for the MS IIs. • I can set this up for him if this is what is going to happen. The jogging phase of STX • Same format is previous lab • At O'Neill Park • MS IIIs will conduct a STX lane from start to finish for an Ambush, Mvmnt to Contact, Raid, Attack, and Recon with MS IV guidance • There will be an instructor for each class level • This lab will require full participation from all MS IVs • One MS IV over watch the MS III (SL), MS IV over watch MS II (TML) & MS I (SQD members), but stay as a squad • Personal instruction • attention to detail • MS I and IIs do not wander around without a purpose Squad Tactics #3

PCI will be done in the morning on Monday November 2 during PT • Can we get the North Gym or South Gym basketball courts reserved so that we have a place with light and shelter from the cold S-2? • Patrolling will take place in the afternoon of Wednesday November 4th • It will be classroom based for all being that it will be basic patrolling procedures and all cadets will know the functions of a squad • Classroom instruction will consist of Patrol operations and how they differ from SQD operations • Practical Exercises will consist of Patrol movement formations and execution of Patrol based battle drills and other operations FTX PCI & Patrolling lab

  17. FTX • November 6th, 7th, 8th • Planning meeting will be Monday October 19th to finalize training and supply needs • Sent out timeline and packing list from MSG • We need to get the packing list out the cadets

  18. Land Nav at SJER October 17th Is this happening, because if so we need a team. I will not be available this weekend. October 24th This is an official land nav date. Arrive at NG at 0600 and done by 1030
