Butler-McIntyre 2017 Disaster Relief • Funds for Food For Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Elementary School • Partnership with the Delta Research and Educational Foundation • Collaboration with Water & Education International DST Elementary School – Cynthia M. A. Butler-McIntyre Campus Classrooms dedicated to 7 past national presidents

HAITI PROJECT April 2018 • Students can’t learn on an empty stomach. • In April of this year, the Sorority pledged to provide lunch daily for the students at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. elementary school, Cynthia M. A. Butler McIntyre campus. • For some students, this is the only meal they receive daily.

Suggested Chapter Programs Suggested Chapter Programs To Support IAI Fund Contribution  • Chapter Fundraisersto design and develop an event to collect & donate funds to our approved Initiatives, supporting our core policy areas - education, healthcare-hygiene, nutrition, etc.  • Chapter Partnerships Fundraisers  (Ex:PP&D, Social Action, etc)  • Community Partnerships to develop plans to  educate and update chapters/communities and request support funds contributions, as well as host information/workshop/panels discussions from Local and International Agency such as State Departments, County Human and Health Services, Embassy’s, etc. • DST Partners -Develop plans to contribute and support our approved partners with joint initiatives -ex: Kenya KEEP/Melvin Stringer

Delta Sigma Theta SORORITY and the United Nations The Charter of the United Nations was signed on June 26, 1945, in San Francisco, at the conclusion of the United Nations Conference on International Organization, and came into being on October 24, 1945. In March 2003, Delta was granted Special Consultative Status as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. The very first Delta Days at the United Nations (DDUN) was held on March 27, 2003 with more than 150 Deltas in attendance. March 22-23, 2018 we celebrated the 15th DDUN.
