HAITI PROJECT April 2018 • Students can’t learn on an empty stomach. • In April of this year, the Sorority pledged to provide lunch daily for the students at the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. elementary school, Cynthia M. A. Butler McIntyre campus. • For some students, this is the only meal they receive daily.

Delta Sigma Theta SORORITY and the United Nations The Charter of the United Nations was signed on June 26, 1945, in San Francisco, at the conclusion of the United Nations Conference on International Organization, and came into being on October 24, 1945. In March 2003, Delta was granted Special Consultative Status as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (ECOSOC) of the United Nations. The very first Delta Days at the United Nations (DDUN) was held on March 27, 2003 with more than 150 Deltas in attendance. March 22-23, 2018 we celebrated the 15th DDUN.
