Harcros Bella™ SurfactantsBellateric ™ -Amphoterics • These are widely used in mild cleansing products such as baby wipes, facial washes, mild hand soaps, acne and baby shampoos • There are 2 main types: acetate and propionate. Acetates are traditionally the most commonly used in mild products. • The acetate contain high levels of sodium chloride (salt) as a by-product and the propionates do not. Harcros Bella™ SurfactantsBellanate™ -Sulfosuccinate • Sulfosuccinates are excellent foamers and primarily used to replace SLS and SLES type surfactants for a “sulfate-free” claim • They are extremely mild to both eyes and skin and can also reduce the irritation of other typical anionic SLS and SLES based formulations • Must be formulated at moderate pH ranges 6.0-7.0 The information and suggestions herein are believed to be reliable but are not to be construed as warranties, nor a guarantee against patent infringement.
