Science week. Science week. A science week was held in November to celebrate science, enthuse and motivate the children and to raise the profile of science in our school. Science activities were completed by all children through out the week.

  2. Science week. • A science week was held in November to celebrate science, enthuse and motivate the children and to raise the profile of science in our school. • Science activities were completed by all children through out the week. Here are some of the interesting activities that were completed.

  3. Year 3 made parachutes.

  4. Year 6 completed an acid test.

  5. Year 5 investigated materials and their properties.

  6. Year 3 tested materials for strength.

  7. Investigating properties of sand in year 1.

  8. Finding out about waterproof materials in the nursery.

  9. Visitors • We also had lots of visitors to teach us about science and inspire us to learn more!

  10. Read all about it. • Our achievements in science week were celebrated in the local newspaper.
