  2. The Belogradchik Rocks • The Belogradchik Rocks are a group of bizarre sandstone and limestone rock formations, reaching up to 200 m in height. They form a strip, which is 30 km long and up to 3 km wide. The rocks were declared a natural landmark in 1949 and consist of four independent groups. Every distinct rock is named after an object it is believed to resemble and the formations vary from red through yellow to grey in colour.

  3. Seven Rila Lakes • The Seven Rila Lakes are a group of lakes, situated in the Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. They are the most visited group of lakes in the country. Each lake carries a name associated with its most characteristic feature. They are: The Tear, The Eye, The Kidney, The Twin, The Trefoil, The Fish Lake, The Lower Lake

  4. The Valley of roses • The Valley of Roses is one of the biggest producers of rose oil in the world. The soil and the climate in this region are quite suitable for the roses. The conditions in Kazanlak proved to be more favourable for the cultivation of the rose than those in its own country of origin - Tunisia.

  5. The Magura Cave • It is among Bulgaria's most famous and beautiful caves. It is located in north-western Bulgaria close to the village of Rabisha, at 18 km from the town of Belogradchik in the Vidin Province. The total length of the Magura cave is 2,5 km. On the cave's walls can be seen cave paintings dating from the early Bronze Age produced between 3,000 and 1,200 BC. The drawings represent usually hunting scenes and are unique for the Balkan peninsula.

  6. Krushuna waterfalls • Krushuna is a village in the north of Bulgaria. It is situated in the region of Lovech. The waterfalls are famous with their beauty. They form a number of terraces.

  7. Dyavolski most The Devil’s bridge is a Medieval bridge over the river Arda. It is built in 1515-1518 by Master Dimitar. It is 56 metres long. In 1984 it is proclamed to be a monument of culture.
