Disney Resorts http://www.thefreetravelplanners.com/Deluxe_Resorts.html
Offsite Versus Onsite Staying on Disney Property Staying off Property Might be less expensive Larger accommodations for larger families Cheap fast food options • More “Magic” • Key to the World Card • Package delivery • Dining plan • Applying discounts • Ease of transportation • Free Parking • Magical Express • No need for a car +++++Tip to figure out if a resort is a Disney resort: If it says “Disney” in front of it, like Disney’s Polynesian Resort or Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, it is a Disney Resort. If it says “Walt Disney”, such as Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin, it is NOT Disney owned.+++++
Big Selling Point • You can apply new discounts to an existing reservation (cannot stack, one only) • Your client can book with a $200 deposit, then when a discount comes out, you’ll automatically apply it • Harder to get the discount with a brand new reservation, suggest reserving what they want ahead of time
Value Resorts • All Star Movies • All Star Music • All Star Sports • Art of Animation • Pop Century Bus transportation to parks http://www.thefreetravelplanners.com/Value_Resorts.html
Value Pros & Cons Pros Cons Doors open to the outside Small rooms One sink No onsite sit down restaurant Sometimes shared bus transportation No pool slides or hot tubs or towels by the pool Very loud Double beds • Less expensive • Cute and very Disney • Clean comfy rooms • Onsite laundry • Quick service location • Large pools
