  3. Two Types of Plants • Nonvascular Plants • No vascular tissue (roots, stems, or leaves) • Depend on water for movement of egg and sperm • Ex. Bryophytes (mosses), Hepatophytes (liverworts), and anthocerophytes (hornworts)

  5. Vascular: Gymnosperms • First seeds • Covered in cone • Moved by wind or animals Cycads Conifers Gingkoes

  6. Vascular: Angiosperms • Seed produced in flower covered with fruit • Uses wind and animals for dispersal stinking-corpse lily (Rafflesia arnoldii)
