Import Users in 3 Easy Steps • Obtain the import template from Eduphoria • Export users from Infinite Campus • Send to Eduphoria
The GO-TO Group “Guinea Pigs” • This GO-TO group will be just that, the people that others can go to when they want the course tree or learning standards changed. • We chose a teacher from each grade and subject area. • You also have a person in your grade and subject area that can help you when you need help with Forethought
Meet With GO-TO • Sat down with each grade and subject and decided how to organize the course tree and learning standards for them. • They can be different from grade to grade and subject to subject.
3 Steps to Building Curriculum • Manage Course Tree • Think of your Course Tree as the “shell” that holds everything together
3 Steps to Building Curriculum • Manage Learning Standards • Take your time with organizing your learning standards, this is the “meat” of everything you do.
3 Steps to Building Curriculum • Adding Lessons • When you type in your daily lesson plans these are the “toppings.”
The Course Tree (Shell) • The forethought scope and sequence tree editor allows you to organize courses in a logical structure for easy navigation.
Learning Standards (Meat) Learning standard can be a student expectation, instructional/district standards, guiding questions, essential understanding, or simply a placeholder for information.
Adding Standards to the Lesson Planner • It is as easy as a double click • The lesson planner will remember what standards you have covered and what day you covered them.
Entering Lesson Plan “Toppings” • You create your own custom lesson plan template • Treat it just like a word document, simply click and type. • You can add hyperlinks directly in your lesson planner • Attach files to your lesson planner
Lesson Plan Views • Day View • Week View • By Course
Team Planner • Team planners allow you to plan with your content, cross curriculum, cross grade or even across the district. • Teams plans are collaborative and there is no owner or “Team Leader”
Look Who’s Lookin…. • Only the people that are set as Principals or Curriculum Directors can look at your lesson planner • They can only look not touch • Principals can add a note about your lesson plans and this note is emailed to you
