5. Citing is necessary here • There have been four different situations in United States history where the president who won the election did not win the popular vote. This occurred in 1824, 1876, 1888 and most recently in the 2000 when Al Gore won the popular vote, yet Bush won the election (“Does My Vote Count” 4).

10. People may state that the Electoral College is unfair, although it does keep the candidates from going to all the big cities and give the small states more attention. The Electoral College keeps the candidate from only going to big cities to win the election which “means that candidates must make a much wider appeal than they would if they simply had to win the national popular vote” (Favor of Electoral College 1).  The Electoral College was made so that the candidates can not win by only going to the cities with more voters. It makes smaller states have an equality of power to the other states around them. With the Electoral College everyone's vote counts. This allows small states to have a bigger affect on the election than they should. If it were not for the Electoral College then small states would not even matter to the election because their votes will not count as much. This proves how the Electoral College allows all votes to count.

11. Capitalization. • Really? In 10th grade? • Article titles are capitalized. My name is capitalized. Your name is too. Proper nouns are capitalized. • “The different states are depending on being in favor of Democrats, Republicans or being a swing state. For the most part republicans will get Texas no problem…”
