Childhood • The James took over the pastorate and reorganized the new hope baptist church • The James prospered, by 1850 they had 275 acres of land • Their farm had 33 sheep, six head of cattle, three horses, a yoke of oxen, and seven slaves • 4 kids in there family, Jesse, Frank, Susan, Robert • Their land got destroyed due to the civil war
Adolescence • Jesse James house was destroyed when the civil war started. • He left his home and made a passé. • The passé revolutionized bank robbing for that time. • The first bank they robbed was The Alexander and Mitchell co. bank on October 30, 1866
Adulthood • Jesse James career as a bank robber made Jesse a famous man • When Jesse was shot by Robert Ford it ended his career. • Right after Jesse died the newspapers made up stories that it wasn’t Jesse and it was his brother allowing Jesse to live his life being pronounced dead

Impact on society Jesse James had a major impact on society in the 1800’s. He and his passé were the most notorious bank robbers of Missouri. The James passé got away with some money at every bank they robbed. Even when the James passé robbed a bank or a train, they gave to the poor. So even though Jesse robbed banks and shot people, he had a big heart and cared about others as well as his family and himself
President When Jesse was born: James K. Polk James K Polk was born on November 2, 1795 in Pineville, North Carolina. He was the 11th president and was the first to decide not to seek a second term.
