Federal Title ProgramsNCLB: No Child Left Behind Title I • Funds are used for math and reading remediation for eligible students. • The ATT was instrumental in getting the alternative method of poverty data collection (i.e. proportionality) approved by CPS which brought Title I to our Chicago and Skokie elementary and high schools

8. Federal Title ProgramsNCLB: No Child Left Behind Title IIA (Professional Development) • Funds are used by ATT schools for attendance at professional development conferences, for in-school workshops, and to pay consultants who give in-services in the core-curricular subject areas.

9. FY 10 Dollars (Services) Allocated to Title IIA -- all ATT schools • Professional development in the core curriculum subjects $74,554

10. Federal Title ProgramsNCLB: No Child Left Behind Title IID (Technology) • Funds are used for professional development in technology and for software/hardware. • The ATT helps its schools write ISBE/USAC approved technology plans which often prove to be a critical factor for receiving technology funds.

12. Federal Title ProgramsNCLB: No Child Left Behind Title III (Foreign Language) • Fundsare used in improving the teaching of English to foreign students. Foreign students are identified as being in the U.S. less than 3 years and in grades K-12.

13. FY 10 Dollars (Services) Allocated to Title III -- all ATT schools • Limited English proficient programs/materials $3,400

14. Federal Title ProgramsNCLB: No Child Left Behind Title IV (Safe and Drug-free Schools) • Funds are used for drug prevention and conflict resolution workshops/consultants and materials to aid in creating safe and drug-free learning environments.

15. FY 10 Dollars (Services) Allocated to Title IV -- all ATT schools • Programs for drug-free and safe schools (includes conflict resolution, character education, and limited security equipment) $14,600

16. Special Leadership Grant from CPS -- all Chicago ATT schools • ATT in its role as Jewish affiliate to Chicago Public Schools has made a special Leadership Grant available to its Chicago principals. Funds cover attendance at conferences that impact the leadership skills of school principals and administrators.
