Methodology involving the synthesis of tetra phenyl porphyrin , its binding with carbon monoxide and the expected out come The cyclocondensation of equimolar amount of pyrrole with aromatic aldehydes in refluxing propionic acid to getthe required 5,10,15,20-tetra aryl porphyrins(TAP). Structural analysis and binding studies of TAP Fe(III)Cl with CO will be confirmed by IR, UV and other spectroscopic data.
