IIYUU AHTAAWIN MIYUPIMAATISIIUNPLANNING (IAMP) FRAMEWORK: MANDATE & GOAL MANDATE Support community-led and owned Miyupimaatisiiun strategic work plan and support regional alignment with community Miyupimaatisiiun priorities as necessary conditions to then facilitate the creation of an Eeyou Istchee Strategic Plan for Miyupimaatisiiun GOAL • Community Miyupimaatisiiun Strategic Work Plan – by September 2015 • An Eeyou Istchee Strategic Plan for Miyupimaatisiiun -- by September 2015 (A strategic plan created through a community-driven framework of development, consultation, integration, and approval among the regional and local entities and groups)

IIYUU AHTAAWIN MIYUPIMAATISIIUNPLANNING (IAMP) HISTORY MAAMUU NAKAAHEHTAAU CAMPAIGN (MNC) • MNC support to community’s healthy living efforts (include) • Encourage resolution to take specific action towards healthier living for community members • Encourage development of health committee • Help develop better regional-local partnership • Help community as work towards community health/social work plan Also some of the outcomes of the IAMP • IAMP building and expanding on MNC work to date • IAMP relying on Chief and Council interest in MNC work • Resolutions signed to support MNC aims • MNC workers active in 5 communities to date • IAMP looking to rely on MNC relationships with communities • MNC Staff actively involved in IAMP work
