Action Items • Data Integration • Create technical document for XML-based data integration (Hsiu-Mei) • Get more GLEON data into GLEON Central Database • XML path: UMBS (Kyle) • Deployment package • QA/QC Subgroup created (Hsiu-Mei, Matt Williamson, Kuo-Tai, and others (Corrina Gries, etc.) • Database should have both raw and cleaned data • Metadata in database that gives level of QA/QC • Annotation (flags) & versioning issues • Best practices document (Fang-Pang) • Database expansion (design) and Role of standards Subgroup (Corinna Gries, Matt Willamson, Fang-Pang) + others • Ancillary info re: sites, sensors • Spatially distributed data • Sites’ metadata

Action Items continued … • Statistics of data usage • Log of data use in GLEON data access web interface • Post Luke transition • NCHC will take on maintenance of GLEON central database; new sites can contact NCHC delegation to include data into GLEON database • Expanded buoy data services: generate knowledge • DataTurbine additional test sites • Kentucky L., others( UMBS Kyle, YYL)
