  5. Discovering Ethnocentrism: taking a closer look • Small Groups – 3-4 students • Each group will need one book • Each group will need a handout and a writing utensil (pen or pencil)

  6. What to look for: • Whose story is the book telling? • Whose narrative isn’t being told? • What point of view is reflected in the story? • Is this book ethnocentric? – Why or why not?

  7. Discuss • What did we find?
