  2. When a person is close to death but recovers, they also occur in stressful or threatening situations – not experienced by all those that are near to death. They range from serenity to extreme fear. OoBE and NDE What occurs? What can explain it? Being awake and seeing your own body from a location outside your physical body

  7. A conclusion… • NDE’s are not experienced by all neaar-death patients so there must be a psychological component to the experience – but is it all psychological? Or is there a biological component too?
