  3. Job 1:1-3 1 There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil. 2 And seven sons and three daughters were born to him.

  4. Job 1:1-3 CONTINUED 3 Also, his possessions were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very large household, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the East.

  5. Job 1:8 8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

  6. Job 1:22 22 In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.

  7. 4 Stages of Maturity:

  8. 1.  “Give Me”

  9. Luke 15:12 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give methe portion of goods that falls to me.’

  11. Acts 8:19 19 …“Give methis power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

  14. You will never mature in your relationship with Christ as long as you are blaming someone else for your situation.

  15. Psalm 139:23-24 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my thoughts; 24 And see if there is any wicked way in me
