Main intervention points • Modern health-centered health-care policy • Development of the public health institution structure • Modernize structure and operation of the patient-centered care structure • Modernize health-care resource generating and distribution • Development of health-care informatics and health-communication • Development of human resources • Support R&D and health industry A. (2004-2006) – OP for HR improvement • Contained eight directions, two related to health-care • Regional diagnostic and screening- or rehabilitation centers (4.3.). • Health-care Information (4.4). • Both enabled funds for three regions only • Tender for grant application published in March 2004. (2) • (10 years) National Public Health Program – in progress • 2005 Governmental structural reform steps – health • Emergency care - developing regional centers and the ambulance system – projects established • National Cancer Control Program - launched • National Pediatric Program • Other professional programs • Cardiovascular prevention and curative program • Develop therapeutical guidelines and protocols A.
