I3N The IABIN Invasives Information Network (I3N) • integrates and provides access to invasive alien species (IAS) information from countries of the western hemisphere • support the detection and control of IAS. • supports the creation of standardized national IAS databases • Easy to use tools.

  3. Pilot Project • Coordinated by NBII • 12 countries took part in 2002 • Tools to collect and exchange IAS information • Trilingual I3N Website (Spanish, Portuguese & English) • Search tools • Online collaboration community and e-mail list (listserv) • IAS Catalogue
