How did the Civil War affect America’s Future? • I took it as that the civil war was for a good reason, and I think that if the civil war never happen we would still have slavery and people would still hate each other and just a lot of stuff well still be here today. People would not remember Abraham Lincoln well they would remember him but no for a good thing it would be for a lot of things people would hate him and wish he was dead or not president they will try to vote him off and other stuff but the civil war was for a good reason slavery stop and we have our freedom its just world’s history.

  19. End of the civil war • April 9, 1865 • Appomattox Court House • After Appomattox, there were still minor battles as 175,000 Confederate troops remained in the field. • The final surrender of Confederate troops occurred June 23, 1865.
