  2. The Company - Today DigitalGlobe operates the world’s highest resolution commercial imaging satellite QuickBird

  3. Program Status • QuickBird placed in 98 degree inclination, polar, sun synchronous, low earth orbit at 450 km altitude. • Satellite is in optimal health and imaging verification and calibration has been completed. Products are now commercially available.

  4. QuickBird Specifications • 61 centimeter panchromatic resolution at nadir • 60 or 70 cm over the field of regard (± 25 deg) 450-900 nm (grayscale) • 2.44 meter multispectral resolution at nadir • 2.4 or 2.8 m over the field of regard (± 25 deg) 450-520 nm (blue) 520-600 nm (green) 630-690 nm (red) 760-900 nm (near IR) • 11 bit dynamic range • Collection capacity: ~57 scenes per orbit, ~70 million km2 per year • 8 year design life, ~2100 lbs, 3m length

  7. Agricultural Assessments Food Security Issues Crop Health Yields Agricultural Infrastructure Illicit Crops Monitoring Eradication Efforts Identifying Processing Labs Identification of Growing Areas Agricultural Applications Identification of Plowing Activity Possible to determine variations of crops within a field and by row Emerging Crop QuickBird 61 cm Pan-Sharpened Fresno Region, California

  8. System of using QuickBird to analyze the taste of rice and wheat It will be available to calculate the contained amount of protein of rice using QuickBird. Also it will be available to provide you the managerial system of rice overlaying both QuickBird and agricultural field in the map. In this case, they reflect these data for mowing. Spectral analysis using Multispectral imagery Estimatecontained amount of protein usingNDVIand show the result on the map

  9. Case Study Showing the degree of growth in each wheat field

  10. Case Study Possible to find the difference of growth in agricultural fields Using QB Imagery to Analyze

  11. Case Study Example of enlarging the image
